Terms of use

Last updated: 2 September 2026

These terms cover using this website and any account you create on it. They are not the contract for paid work — that is the Website Development Agreement you sign before a project starts, and where the two disagree, the signed agreement wins. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

Who you’re dealing with

Athos Intelligence Consultancy (“A.I.C”, “we”, “us”) is a sole trader based in Deeside, United Kingdom. Contact: ewan.hutch@outlook.com or +44 7874 068367.

What this site is

A description of services and a way to get in touch. Prices, timescales and package contents shown here are indicative guidance, not an offer. Nothing on this site forms a contract. A binding quote only exists once we have confirmed it to you in writing after a discovery call.

Portfolio pieces labelled as demonstrations are our own example builds, not client work, and are labelled as such.

Accounts

If you create an account, you agree to give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into it. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.

An account is a convenience, not a service commitment: it doesn’t start a project, reserve capacity, or entitle you to anything. We may suspend or delete an account that is unused, fake, or used abusively. You can ask us to delete yours at any time and we will, subject to records we’re legally required to keep — see the privacy policy.

If you’re a consumer: your right to cancel

Most of our clients are businesses, and this section doesn’t apply to them. But if you are buying as a consumer — an individual, not for the purposes of a trade or business — and we agreed the work at a distance (online, by phone or by email, without meeting in person), you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of entering the contract, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

You don’t need to give a reason. To cancel, just email ewan.hutch@outlook.com within those 14 days. We’ll refund you within 14 days of being told.

If you ask us to start work during those 14 days, you keep the right to cancel, but you’ll be charged a fair, proportionate amount for the work already done up to the point you cancelled. We will ask you to confirm that request in writing before starting. Once the work is fully delivered within the 14 days with your agreement, the right to cancel ends.

Acceptable use

Don’t use this site to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone else’s rights;
  • send abusive, misleading or bulk unsolicited messages through the contact form;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its accounts or its infrastructure;
  • scrape, overload, or otherwise interfere with the site working normally for other people.

Our content

The text, design, code, logo and images on this site belong to A.I.C or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not republish or reuse them commercially without our written permission.

Work produced for a client under a signed agreement is a separate matter: ownership of that work transfers as set out in that agreement, on final payment.

Availability

We aim to keep the site up but don’t guarantee it. It may be unavailable for maintenance, or because of a hosting or third-party failure outside our control, and we may change or remove any part of it without notice.

Links to other websites are for convenience. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content.

Liability

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: this site is provided as-is; we’re not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts, or data arising from using it or being unable to; and our total liability in connection with your use of this website is limited to £100. Liability for paid project work is dealt with separately in the Website Development Agreement, not by this figure.

If you are a consumer, none of this affects your statutory rights.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above shows when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you keep the right to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.

Complaints

Email ewan.hutch@outlook.com and we’ll respond. For anything about your personal data, the privacy policy explains your rights and your route to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

We’d like to use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site, which sets a couple of cookies. Everything else on this site works without any. See the privacy policy.
